How Demons Work

Since Satan can't be in more than one place at a time he uses demons to
do most of his work. Demons use different ways to attack you.
1. Through Nature: Since Satan is referred to a as "the ruler of this world"
(John 12:31) and the "prince of the power of the air." (Ephesians 2:2)
we can assume that Satan and his Demons have som control over nature.
Which explains why there are so many devastating storm that destory and
kill so much. There is nothing more discourging then seeing your home
and famlies wiped out by wind, rain, hurricanes, tornadoes and even fire.
Remember Satan or his demons attacked Jobs family with wind. (Job 1:19)
2. Through Illness: Not all illnesses are brought on by Satan or his demons,
some of them are. When evening came, after the sun had set, they began
bringing to him all who were ill and those who were demon possessed. And
he healed many who were ill with various diseases and cast out many demons.
(Mark 1:32,34)
3. Through Suicide: (Mark 9:22) (John 8:44) Jesus refers to Satan as "a
Murder" and "a liar." It is our natural for us to protect our lives, and
not distroy it. It is unnatural to harm ourselves. But Satan and his
demons can convence us to hurt or even commit sucide by possesing us.
4. Through Other People: Demons can use other people to discourage, distract
and deceive us. In extreme instances demons have the ability to use humans
to persecute and murder other christians. (See Revelation 18:2,24)

You make some very good points there John! I have been studying a book about spiritual warfare that is very enlightening as the author was formerly involved in the occult for many years before commiting himself to Yeshua.He now uses his former experiences to show how the enemy works. The book is titled "blood on the doorposts"by William Snoebelen It is very eye opening and is the best resource I have found on the subject.I would recommend it to any mature believer interested in this subject.
