Exodus 15:18-19 King James Version (KJV)
18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

Exodus 15:18-19 Darby Translation (DARBY)
18 Jehovah shall reign for ever and ever!
19 For the horse of Pharaoh, with his chariots and with his horsemen, came into the sea, and Jehovah brought again the waters of the sea upon them; and the children of Israel went on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

18 The Lord was to always to be their King, they did not need a king, Samuel would later tell them this when they asked for a king. Today our King is Jesus who is our Lord and He reigns forever.

19 God destroyed the strongest army of the day by the waters, Israel would have not been able to defeat them even though they had them out number Egypt was more collective and had better equipment so they Lord defeats them which puts a fear into people in Canaan.
